High school Matija Antun Reljkovic Slavonski Brod

High school Matija Antun Reljković Slavonski Brod has been founded in 1959. and since then has been the only school of practical type in this part of Croatia. The main activities of the school are secondary education and education of adults. The school is also registered for the production and sale of agricultural products, and to encourage the development of entrepreneurial skills among students and teachers.
The school is unique in the methods of education that they provide, since they are focused on the practical side of teaching and assuring that their students get the necessary knowledge to function and find jobs on today’s dynamic labour market. The school consists of three thematic units: agriculture and forestry, veterinary and chemistry school (chemistry, ecology, nutrition, geodesy). The vision of the school is to become an educational institution which bases its work on research in the fields of agriculture, forestry, veterinary medicine, chemical engineering, ecology and nutrition.
School’s education and training tasks are carried out through various forms of team work and activities, constantly learning. The main aim is to solve all existing problems with creative approach to each individuals, because through a simple and efficient communication we can accomplish selected tasks. The school wants to become an international garden centre, with new facilities at the school economy, and renew existing facilities.

We plan to establish centres for horticulture, veterinary medicine, chemistry, micro propagation and similar facilities. With all of the mentioned facilities the school will be a constant service and support to entrepreneurs.
